My passion for writing began during one of the most challenging times of my life, while caring for Grace, who was battling frontotemporal dementia (FTD). What started as a personal journal to document our experiences quickly became much more than a way to process emotions—it turned into a new passion. Writing became my refuge, a space where I could reflect on the journey we were on together, and through it, I discovered how much I truly enjoyed expressing myself through words.

My first book was born out of this experience. It was a raw and honest account of the path Grace and I travelled together through the complexities of FTD. Writing it was, in many ways, a form of therapy for me, a way to cope with the intense emotions I was feeling. At the same time, it was about reclaiming the narrative of my life particularly. Too many people had shared their opinions, judgments, and assumptions, and had no idea what I and Grace were going through.

Through this process, I realized I wanted to help others take back control of their lives and feel grounded, even when facing life’s challenges. I’m passionate about supporting people in finding the courage to live by their values, discover themselves, and grow—not just through adversity, but from a desire to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Ultimately, I want to help others live their happiest, most authentic lives.
