Infection on neck
I’ve visited the local Doctor today on Banda Niera about the spot on my neck. It’s a small infection has she has given me anti biotics for it. It’s a free day for all consultations and medicines, as it is her birthday. I could not accept that I did not have to pay. I decided there and then to pay forward by giving 200,000 rph for the someone who can afford her services in future.
Nutmeg
I’ve been with Colleen and Dirk today, visiting Banda Island, looking at the nutmeg plantations. It’s so humid here, but up on the hill or by the water the breeze is really nice. The ferry trip across was so serene and the landscape amazing. One of the islands has and active volcano and you can see all the lava that has turned to rock.
The hotel where I staying is great with the airco rooms, the temperature being just right. Still cold water showers, but I am used to this now.
No more nightmares?
I’ve noticed that I don’t have as many nightmares as I did before, now the dreams seem more normal and just about different kinds day to day real time stuff. Has the last two months allowed my mind to relax.
